Qualifications

  • Licensure as a professional engineer with the Minnesota Board of Architecture, Engineering, Land Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Geoscience, and Interior Design (AELSLAGID).
  • Experience in hydraulics and hydrology.
  • Experience in analyzing and preparing engineering data.
  • Experience providing technical guidance and support to others.
  • Experience using CADD for hydraulic design.

Responsibilities

  • Provide statewide technical expertise in hydrology, hydraulic design, hydraulic asset management, infrastructure data support, and ORD drainage tools.
  • Provide hydraulic technical assistance and CADD design support to district hydraulic designers.
  • Prepare technical analyses and guidance related to drainage assets and database management.
  • Support development, improvement, and sharing of hydraulic knowledge across the department.
  • Coordinate with State Aid Bridge and State Aid Operations on hydraulic-related activities and standards.
