Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment seeks an experienced Hydraulic Technician to service forklifts and material handling gear at customer sites. This mobile role uses a company van and involves daily travel from home with no shop work. No nights or weekends, hourly pay, and commission opportunities are available.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years on forklifts or heavy equipment, strong diagnostic skills, safety focus, and a valid driver’s license. PTO and comprehensive benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years on forklifts, heavy equipment, or auto.
• Strong diagnostic ability and problem solving.
• Safety-conscious and self-directed in field work.

Responsibilities

• Travel daily to customer sites to diagnose and repair forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
• Service and install batteries, chargers, and related equipment.
• Document work performed and follow safety procedures.
