The Hydraulic Technician I will perform assembly and testing on valves and assemblies by interpreting blueprints and job instructions. The position is part of the Pall Aerospace Liquids department and is located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM, with flexible scheduling and routine overtime as needed.

This position requires U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization, as it involves access to export‑controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
  • Perform assembly and testing on valves and assemblies by interpreting blueprints and job sheets, maintaining high productivity while producing quality parts.
  • Follow written technical instructions and drawings. Set up test stand and test valves and assemblies to meet specifications on job sheets, proof test by placing valves in block and re‑testing, and troubleshoot problems during assembly and test.
  • Work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals. Keep hand tools and tooling up to date and maintain inventory. Complete all required paperwork including scorecards, hazard recognitions, routers and data, Follower Tags, ATP, and Slitter Sheets.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
  • High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a role demonstrating mechanical aptitude.
  • Working knowledge of and experience using hand tools and gages (torque wrenches, calipers) and ability to read and comprehend blueprints, job sheets, and written work instructions.
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel, Lotus Notes or Outlook and ability to search the internet for maintenance‑related solutions.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
  • Continuous mental and visual attention is required.
  • Required lifting weight: minimum 35 lbs. Lifting frequency: daily. Requires standing for long periods (minimum 8 hours) and working with machinery at heights (e.g., work platforms).
  • Frequently twist and bend the body. Must be able to work with solvents, oils, and other chemicals.
It Would Be a Plus if You Also Possess Previous Experience in
  • Trade school degree in automotive service technology or aircraft maintenance.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic or pneumatic principles and related hardware (flow testing, cracking and resetting of valves).
