Job summary

Lehigh Heavy Forge Corporation is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator to manufacture hydraulic machinery from drawings. You will read hydraulic and electrical drawings, understand BOM relationships, lay out and assemble hydraulic components with hand tools, and fabricate tubing and hose assemblies.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years experience reading drawings and BOMs.
• Welding experience required and must pass a welding test.
• Valid driver's license if transporting goods.
• Onsite training is required for operating tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read hydraulic and electrical drawings and general arrangement drawings.
• Understand bill of material and its relation to drawings.
• Layout and assemble hydraulic components with hand-held tools.
• Fabricate tubing, piping, and hose assemblies using hand-held and bench equipment.
• Drill and tap holes using hand-held and bench-mounted tools.
• Weld carbon steel and stainless-steel plates and piping.
• Assist in testing all manufactured assemblies.
