Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural or Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• PE license required.
• 10 years of related experience.

• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design hydraulic structures for flood control, hydroelectric, and related water-resource projects.
• Lead project teams of structural engineers and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Prepare project proposals including scopes of work, budgets, and schedules.
• Forecast workload and schedules.
• Prepare contract documents including drawings, specifications, design criteria, cost estimates and bid documents.
• Perform engineering services during construction and review of shop drawings.
• Conduct inspections and structure assessments and prepare reports.
• Prepare and present technical presentations to project team, clients and review boards.
• Conduct risk analyses for hydraulic structures and document findings.
• Manage tasks on large projects or several medium projects.
• Review work to ensure quality and compliance with codes.
• Mentor junior staff and participate in BD, marketing and recruiting activities.
