Yancey Bros. Co is seeking a Hydraulic Hose Builder in Albany, GA to assemble and inspect hydraulic hoses per customer specifications and to assist in warehouse operations.

The role involves pulling parts, maintaining stock counts, and partnering with technicians to fulfill orders while upholding safety standards. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, are capable of lifting heavy parts, and can work in hot or cold environments.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and higher with assistive devices.

Responsabilités

• Manufacture and inspect hydraulic hoses per customer request.
• Research part numbers and pull parts from warehouse.
• Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and cleaning shop each day.
• Perform and enter daily cycle counts each morning prior to receiving stock or billing items.
• Receive stock orders and bin locate items lacking locations.
• Inspect worn cores before issuing credit.
• Review all part and core credits issued from previous day to verify receipt.
• Build hoses utilizing proper assembly and contamination control techniques.
• Pull all orders in a timely manner including branch transfers and deliveries.
• Maintain a clean warehouse daily.
• Process and return cores each week.
• Respond to warranty parts return requests weekly.
• Purge unneeded items from warranty hold areas monthly.

What You Will Be Doing:

As the Hydraulic Hose Builder, you will be responsible for executing the daily tasks involved with building hoses, utilizing proper assembly and contamination control techniques. You will also assist in the warehouse by pulling stock orders for customers, technicians, and other stores in the Yancey family. Other responsibilities include daily cycle counts, maintaining a clean warehouse, and using the man-lifts in a safe manner.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manufacture and inspect hydraulic hoses per customer request.
• Research part numbers and pull parts from warehouse.
• Maintain a clean work area by sweeping and cleaning shop each day.
• Perform and enter daily cycle counts each morning prior to receiving stock or billing out any items.
• Receive all stock orders each day and properly bin locate any items that do not already have bin locations assigned.
• Inspect worn cores before issuing credit.
• Review all part and core credits issued from previous day to verify receipt.
• Build hoses utilizing proper assembly and contamination control techniques.
• Pull all orders in a timely manner including branch transfers received prior to cut-off, delivering shop orders, and assisting customers with loading.
• Maintain a clean warehouse by sweeping and cleaning each day.
• Process and return cores each week.
• Respond to all warranty parts return requests each week.
• Purge unneeded items from warranty hold areas monthly.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

The ability to multitask, problem solve and provide superior customer service are essential to this position as well.

Education/Experience:

• High school or equivalent
