Job summary

ManpowerGroup's Milwaukee-area team is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer – Product Development to actively drive hydraulic system design from concept through production. You’ll work hands-on with hardware, prototypes, and testing, collaborating with manufacturing and other engineering groups to bring new products to market.

The role emphasizes real-world problem solving, multi-project management, and shaping a major product-platform evolution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
2+ years of engineering experience involving hydraulic systems or related product environments.
Hands-on experience with hydraulic components, assemblies, and prototypes.
Understanding of hydraulic system operation, testing, and troubleshooting.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and support hydraulic systems and components for commercial mobile equipment.
Participate in new product development from concept to production.
Work with hydraulic components, assemblies, and prototypes on the shop floor.
Evaluate components based on performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost.
Develop and execute test and validation plans and troubleshoot issues.
Collaborate with manufacturing and internal machining capabilities to refine hydraulic hardware.
Support existing products through sustaining engineering and continuous improvement.
