Job summary

Carter Machinery, Inc. in Chesapeake, VA is seeking a Hydraulic Cylinder Technician on the 1st shift. This entry-level role trains you to disassemble, inspect, repair/replace, reassemble and test hydraulic cylinders to meet factory specifications. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered for new hires.

Qualifications

Entry level position with training to disassemble, inspect, repair/replace, reassemble and test hydraulic cylinders.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn operation of specialized shop equipment.
Willingness to work 1st shift and potentially overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Disassemble, inspect, repair/replace, reassemble and test hydraulic cylinders to meet factory specs.
Troubleshoot equipment and contribute to continuous improvement goals with the team.
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with peers.
