Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an Offensive Security Analyst on the Web Application & Fraud Testing team. You will conduct threat-driven security testing of Vanguard's client-facing web applications, applying nascent adversarial TTPs to validate controls and inform improvements across the enterprise.

You will design realistic scenarios with defensive teams, assess risk, and provide actionable remediation guidance while mentoring junior staff. Vanguard supports a hybrid work model from Malvern, PA area.

Qualifications

• OSCP/OSWA/OSWE/CWES/GWAPT or equivalent web app testing certs required; CISSP preferred.
• Minimum five years of related work experience, with three in threat analysis.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience testing controls and remediating assessment findings.
• Experience assessing production web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute adversarial tests to stress-test fraud detection and response.
• Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and threat modeling.
• Assess risk, apply defensible severity ratings, and communicate impact.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to grow technical skills.
• Lead with IT and business teams to distribute findings and drive remediation.
