Job summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking a dependable, hardworking Warehouse Manager / Installer for a unique hybrid role combining daily warehouse operations with one garage door installation each afternoon. Training may require travel to other markets during the initial period.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–11:00 AM in the warehouse and later in the day for the installation, with additional earnings through piece-rate installation pay. No overnight travel required.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Able to use a computer and tablet.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a physical, hands‑on environment.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn installation skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Warehouse, construction, delivery, or garage door experience is a plus, but not required.
• Willing to train the right candidate with a positive attitude and motivation to grow.

Responsibilities

• Warehouse Responsibilities: Manage daily warehouse operations and maintain organization.
• Receive, organize, and track incoming inventory and materials.
• Stock installer trucks with parts, tools, and job materials each morning.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report shortages.
• Keep warehouse clean, safe, and operational at all times.
• Assist with loading and unloading products and deliveries.
• Support technicians and installers with job preparation.
• Ensure materials and equipment are ready for daily operations.
• Help maintain company standards for efficiency and safety.
• Manage inventory process on computer and tablet.
• Installation Responsibilities: Complete one garage door installation each afternoon.
• Install garage doors and related components according to company standards.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Provide excellent customer service during installations.
• Follow all safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Maintain professionalism while representing the company in customers’ homes.
• Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding job progress.
