Job summary

The Bancorp in Wilmington, DE is seeking a VP Sourcing and Procurement to lead enterprise sourcing and vendor management in a hybrid role.

You will develop sourcing strategy, drive expense savings, manage supplier performance, and partner with Finance and control functions to ensure governance and risk compliance. Strong leadership and negotiation skills are essential, as is deep knowledge of vendor contracts and Office tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum 8 years of sourcing and procurement experience.
• Strong working knowledge of legal and vendor contract terms preferred.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills preferred.
• High level of attention to detail preferred.
• Ability to lead groups of people toward common goals.

Responsibilities

• Develops enterprise sourcing strategy across technology and other spend, with category ownership and supplier strategies.
• Analyzes enterprise spending, demand, and supplier relationships; evaluates consolidation opportunities.
• Delivers expense savings by agreeing annual and in-year savings with Finance and leadership.
• Supports executive governance with reporting on savings, spending, vendor performance, renewal priorities.
• Leads competitive sourcing and negotiation including RFI/RFP processes and supplier evaluations.
• Maintains contract discipline and ensures compliance with purchasing requirements.
