Job summary

Ingenuity Staffing seeks a VP of Finance for a financial institution in San Diego. You will own the CECL model end-to-end, drive budgeting and forecasting, and prepare materials for ALCO and the Board, while coordinating with audit and regulatory inquiries.

We require 10+ years in FP&A or banking, strong SQL/reporting skills, and experience presenting toBoard/ALCO committees. Hybrid work after a 90-day onsite ramp; relocation is possible but not subsidized.

Qualifications

• Direct, hands-on experience owning a CECL model — not just reviewing results.
• 10+ years in financial management, FP&A, or accounting within a bank or credit union.
• Strong SQL and financial database reporting skills.
• Experience preparing materials for Board and ALCO review.
• BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; CPA, CFA, or MBA a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage the CECL model — monthly calculations, KPI reporting, scenario analysis, and committee materials
• Own the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working directly with the CFO and SVP Finance
• Build and maintain SQL-based financial reporting for management KPIs
• Lead organizational and product profitability analysis; serve as primary liaison for financial statement audits, regulatory exams, and model validations
