Job summary

The RILA Communities Foundation (RCF), part of the Retail Industry Leaders Association, seeks a Vice President, Community Safety Programs, to lead crime reduction initiatives across retail environments nationwide from Washington, DC. This senior position shapes strategy and coordinates with law enforcement, prosecutors, and industry partners to reduce organized retail crime and fraud.

Qualified candidates will have a Juris Doctor and at least three years as a local prosecutor, plus strong

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree required.
• Minimum of three years of experience as an assistant county prosecutor or assistant state attorney general.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement program strategy aligned with mission and priorities.
• Identify retail crime trends and translate into initiatives with measurable outcomes.
• Lead design and execution of new initiatives with long-term sustainability.
• Provide strategic guidance across program areas.
• Convene stakeholders and manage partnerships with public sector agencies and associations.
• Track progress, resolve barriers, and apply continuous improvement.
