Job summary

Unbound Academy in Arizona is seeking licensed teachers to join as Hybrid Virtual Student Mentors. In this role you will mentor students, guide life competencies, and support experiential learning with AI-powered platforms; there are no traditional lessons, lectures, or grading, and two hours of core work are completed by students daily.

This full-time role is offered as a Contractor of Record for Crossover, paying $60 per hour (approximately $60,000 per year) with weekly payroll.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. teaching certificate from any state, or an expired certificate eligible for reinstatement, with certification transferable to Arizona
• Demonstrated ability to engage students effectively through video-based instruction
• Availability to work in a hybrid capacity in Arizona

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging online workshops centered on life competencies including communication, creativity, critical thinking, and self-management
• Providing one-on-one and small-group mentorship to cultivate confidence, accountability, and executive functioning skills
• Leveraging platform analytics and student indicators to tailor support and monitor development trajectories
• Working alongside fellow educators to design and refine project-based learning opportunities
• Establishing a supportive, energizing environment where students feel recognized, stretched, and inspired to develop
