Job summary

Inizio Engage is seeking a Hybrid Virtual Clinical Educator (VCE) to provide remote disease state and product education to patients and care partners across the United States. The role requires fluency in English and Spanish and involves web-based and telephone education and training for a specific respiratory product.

The VCE will support development of TA educational resources, maintain high-quality patient interactions, and participate in training programs.

Qualifications

• RN license required; US healthcare professional license.
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required.
• Ability to communicate complex clinical information clearly in both languages.
• 3+ years of clinical/pharma sales/educator/medical affairs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote education and training to patients prescribed client product via web and phone.
• Educate English- and Spanish-speaking patients, caregivers, and care partners in a culturally appropriate manner.
• Attend required trainings and competency assessments.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
• Identify educational opportunities and share insights with leadership.
• Possibly conduct in-person education if business permits.
• Support resource development for product education.

The Hybrid Virtual Clinical Educator (VCE) is responsible for providing remote (web-based, telephone call) disease state and product education and training to assigned patients and care partners across the nation for a specific product within the respiratory therapeutic area. This position requires fluency in both English and Spanish, including the ability to effectively communicate clinical and educational information verbally and in writing in both languages. The VCE also supports the design and development of TA educational resources, including disease state and product information, patient, care partner, community advocate, and consumer education materials and programming. The Clinical Educator demonstrates expert knowledge of TA disease states, treatment guidelines, product, supportive care, adverse event management, and the competitive landscape. What will you be doing?

• Provide remote (web-based, telephone) education and training to assigned patients prescribed client product and have opted into the clinical educator program
• Provide education, training, and support to English- and Spanish-speaking patients, caregivers, and care partners in a culturally appropriate and professional manner
• Virtual Clinical Educator may be required to conduct in-person education, if business permits
• Identify, support, and communicate unique educational opportunities for related product and share intelligence with leadership
• Contribute clinical insights in support of the development of both short and long-term enhancement of program offerings
• Conduct outbound medication adherence support to patients and or caregivers
• Enroll patients/caregivers into educational seminars or provide resources to assist them with finding local community resources or centers of care for their specialty or primary care disease
• Maintain excellent quality and superior customer service while adhering to program talking points or scripts and leverage live video conferencing software on the web/client specific websites as applicable
• Only use approved materials provided by Inizio Engage or by the client, without changing, copying or distributing the materials
• Attend and complete all training courses and related competency assessments that Inizio Engage requires, to an appropriate standard and within a specified timeframe
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key customers
• Some overnight travel may be required

What do you need for this position?

• Current Registered Nurse US healthcare professional license required
• Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) required
• Ability to communicate complex clinical and healthcare information effectively in both languages
• Minimum of 3 or more years of successful combined clinical experience and/or pharmaceutical sales, clinical educator, or medical affairs experience (primary care, specialty care, institutional; background in TA, Respiratory, Rheumatology, Immunology or Specialty focus preferred)
• Experience working in a remote setting handling patient interactions
• Ability to travel in the US including overnight travel
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
• Demonstrate effective and professional communication
• Excellent interpersonal skills with pleasant telephone manner and articulate phone voice
• Competency with Call Center Telephone Technology
• Demonstrable organizational skills
• Evidence of continual professional development and a desire to update professional knowledge base regularly

The base pay range for this position is $81K – $150K per year. The final compensation offered to a successful candidate will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, internal equity, and business needs.
