Job summary

The Treasury Manager at Wills Group oversees daily treasury operations, cash and liquidity management, banking relationships, and forecasting. You will drive cash visibility, report KPIs, and collaborate with Accounting, FP&A, and business leaders while directly mentoring the Treasury Staff Accountant.

Schedule is hybrid in La Plata, MD, with in-office days Tuesday and Thursday and Monday/Friday remote; some after-hours work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 4+ years of progressive treasury, cash management, or accounting experience.
• Experience with cash activity, bank reconciliations, treasury controls, and audit requirements.
• Previous management experience strongly preferred.
• Strong Excel and ERP/system skills; familiarity with PDI is a plus.
• SOX or audit-supported environment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cash positioning, liquidity monitoring, forecasting, and weekly cash activity.
• Develop and enhance treasury reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and rolling cash forecasts.
• Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Development, and business stakeholders to integrate cash flow, capital, and financing needs into forecasts.
• Support investment planning and monitor debt covenants, liquidity requirements, and banking agreements.
• Manage banking relationships, account access, banking fees, and day-to-day treasury operations.
• Review cash, debt, interest, reconciliations, and treasury-related transactions for month-end close and audits.
• Maintain strong internal controls, policies, and procedures around cash and banking activity.
• Identify opportunities to improve treasury processes, systems, reporting, and cash visibility.
• Lead and develop the Treasury Staff Accountant through coaching and technical guidance.
