Job summary

Stanley Consultants, a global engineering firm, seeks a Transportation Project Manager in DeBary, FL to lead highway design projects, including studies, drainage, and construction documents, in a hybrid work setting. You will coordinate with clients, subconsultants and staff to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

You bring a BS in Civil Engineering, 10+ years of experience, and a Florida PE or plan to obtain it, plus strong leadership, communication and business development

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with FDOT highway design projects.
• Experience in preparing technical approaches for RFQs and proposals.
• Strong business acumen including negotiation skills.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in teams.
• Proven leadership, communication, collaboration, mentoring and client liaison skills.
• Proficient with collaboration tools like ProjectWise, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and mentor design staff on transportation projects.
• Manage projects with FDOT and other agencies.
• Assist in staffing and hiring recommendations.
• Contribute to marketing strategies for transportation opportunities.
• Uphold QA/QC standards per the quality manual.
• Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Prepare reports, plans, and cost estimates.
• Review projects post-award for scheduling and resource plans.
