Job summary

STV is seeking a Transportation Intern to join the Transportation team in a hybrid role requiring at least three days per week in the office. Preference for a minimum three-month, full-time internship.

The role involves supporting senior/junior designers on various transportation projects, including public transit and roadways, with a strong interest in transportation engineering and infrastructure design.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil or Structural engineering at an ABET-accredited university.
  • Familiarity with Open Roads and/or MicroStation is preferred.
  • Experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in drawing and specification preparation using MicroStation or Open Roads Designer.
  • Format reports and specifications to support project documentation.
  • Support file management of project documents, including printing and scanning.
  • Gain practical experience and broad exposure to STV’s structure through diverse assignments.
  • Utilize department software to complete tasks and contribute to project success.
