Job summary

raSmith is seeking a Transportation Design Engineer to contribute to transportation planning and engineering studies across Wisconsin. The role includes writing reports and supporting automated highway design, plan preparation, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating for projects statewide.

The candidate should have a BS in Civil Engineering, EIT is preferred, and 0–3 years of transportation design experience with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university.
• EIT certification preferred.
• 0-3 years of transportation design experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred.
• Applicable U.S. based work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with transportation planning and engineering studies on a variety of projects.
• Write reports.
• Work on automated highway design including plan preparation, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating.
• Other duties as assigned.
