Job summary

Duke Energy in Charlotte, NC seeks a Transmission Contracts Analyst (or Senior) to manage transmission tariffs, interconnection agreements, and related commercial contracts, supporting TP and TO functions.

You will coordinate negotiations, monitor OATT, assess credit risk, and liaise with customers. This hybrid role requires strong regulatory knowledge and solid contract management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required.
• Five or more years related work experience required.
• Alternative: High School/GED with nine or more years related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate negotiation and execution of transmission service agreements and generator interconnection agreements.
• Develop understanding of Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) and Federal regulations affecting the OATT.
• Monitor and maintain transmission customer accounts and respond to inquiries.
• Assess credit worthiness of prospective customers and manage credit instruments.
• Implement process measures for Transmission Service Agreements and participate in provider process measures.
