Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Process deeds and legal instruments; perform data entry and verify ownership, parcel numbers and addresses; calculate conveyance fees and exemption status.
• Provide information to the public, title companies, attorneys, and taxpayers; explain procedures and requirements for real estate transfers.
• Accept payments; balance cash receipts; track conveyance numbers, fees, and exempt transfers; maintain daily financial records.
• Receive and organize mail; deliver documents; assist with filing and document imaging.
• Perform general clerical duties and office tasks as needed.
