Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's in taxation/LLM preferred.
• CPA or JD/active license preferred.
• 2–6 years of federal tax consulting or compliance experience; M&A tax services also accepted.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor staff on M&A projects and assist with year-end reviews.
• Communicate with clients to manage expectations and meet deadlines.
• Work with Transaction Services on tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist in buy-side/sell-side tax due diligence and tax-efficient restructurings.
• Prepare written communications for clients and responses to tax authorities.
