Job summary

Alta Planning + Design in Atlanta, GA is seeking a TDM Planner III to shape regional and citywide Transportation Demand Management strategies. The role combines geospatial analysis, data visualization, stakeholder engagement, and policy review to support clients and communities.

You will work with ArcGIS, Qualtrics, and various data sources to develop maps, dashboards, and technical memoranda, while managing projects, timelines, and budgets in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a consulting or public entity setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in planning or related field.
• Experience in TDM, public transit, or active transportation.
• Strong planning process knowledge and basic project management.
• Proficiency with MS Office; Advanced Excel skills.
• Expertise with ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online; ability to create maps.
• Experience developing surveys and data analyses for planning.
• Ability to translate data into clear reports, maps, and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, administer, and analyze surveys to support planning and evaluation.
• Develop geospatial maps and analyses using ArcGIS Pro/Online.
• Prepare technical memoranda, planning reports, and implementation plans.
• Develop interactive web maps, dashboards, and StoryMaps.
• Engage stakeholders and manage multiple projects within budgets and timelines.
• Present findings and recommendations to clients and teams.
