CohnReznick is seeking a Tax Senior Manager to lead tax advisory within our Financial Services Group in New York City. You will oversee complex tax compliance, planning, and client service for hedge funds and private equity clients, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and technical excellence.

This hybrid role requires a CPA or equivalent, at least six years in public accounting, and proven supervisory experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's in Accounting/Taxation preferred.
• CPA, JD or EA preferred; 6+ years tax experience in public accounting.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience; financial services experience required.
• Strong client service, communication, and tax research/writing skills.

Responsabilidades

• Research tax issues and filing requirements for tax compliance.
• Review tax returns (1065 & 1120) for accuracy and completeness.
• Research complex tax issues using internal revenue code, treasury regs and guidance.
• Serve as Engagement Manager on specific client accounts and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to expand current engagements with client needs.
• Provide regular performance feedback and evaluations.
• Develop subordinates' technical and industry skills and encourage growth.
• Demonstrate initiative, vision, resourcefulness, and independent thinking.
