Solid Rock Recruiting, LLC is seeking a Tax Senior for a well-established public accounting firm in Austin, TX. This hybrid, full-time role focuses on leading tax engagements for corporations, partnerships, and individuals, with opportunities for client-facing advisory work.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with Tax Managers and Partners, and stay current on tax laws while delivering accurate, timely results in a dynamic, growth-oriented firm.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4+ years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax.
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, compliance, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
• Provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to clients.
• Perform tax research and provide recommendations on complex tax issues.
• Manage multiple tax engagements, ensuring deadlines are met with high accuracy.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, delivering high-quality service.
• Support Tax Managers and Partners with tax strategy development and implementation.
• Mentor and review work of junior staff.
