Job summary

Metso is seeking a Tactical Sourcing Specialist to join our North and Central America (NCA) Sourcing Team. You will manage day-to-day sourcing activities supporting customer orders, quotations, and projects while ensuring supplier competitiveness, material availability, and operational excellence.

You will report to Leonardo Silva, Senior Manager, Tactical Sourcing. This role is primarily based in Brookfield, WI with hybrid working options available.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in one of the related fields mentioned.
• 3+ years in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain roles.
• Experience with SAP ERP and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of P2P processes and supplier collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Execute tactical sourcing activities to support customer sales orders, quotations, projects, and other business requirements.
• Prepare, issue, and manage RFQs, evaluating suppliers on cost, quality, lead time, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Market Area Sourcing, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, and Business Line stakeholders.
• Execute sourcing strategies through the approved supplier base while ensuring compliance with processes, systems, tools, and policies.
• Support supplier base development initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Translate business requirements into timely, cost-effective sourcing solutions that meet needs.
• Identify and communicate sourcing requirements to Market Area Sourcing and Business Line teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of sourcing processes, supplier performance, and cross-functional collaboration.
