Job summary

Red River is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage and enhance a hybrid infrastructure. You will work with Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, and M365, plus Nutanix, Azure, and AWS to ensure reliable operations.

You will monitor health, support backup/DR, enforce security controls, and contribute to automation and documentation. Occasional after-hours work and on-call rotations are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT or related field.
• 5+ years administering enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Experience with virtualization (Nutanix) and cloud (Azure/AWS).
• Knowledge of backup, disaster recovery, endpoint management, and continuity processes.
• Networking basics (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPNs, VLANs, firewalls).
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Nutanix, Azure, AWS and related hybrid infrastructure.
• Monitor health and performance; participate in capacity planning and improve reliability.
• Support backup, replication, DR, and business continuity activities including testing.
• Implement security controls, hardening standards, vulnerability remediation and audit support.
• Support Intune, policy management, endpoint compliance, and related security tools.
• Escalate complex infrastructure, cloud, identity, and endpoint issues (Tier II/III).
• Develop, maintain, and improve technical standards, procedures, and knowledge base.
• Assist with automation, scripting, and evaluation of new technologies.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, service desk, and business teams on initiatives.
• Participate in IT service management processes and change control.
• Contribute to maintenance windows, after-hours support, and on-call rotations.
