Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Syndicated Loan Specialist to administer and service leveraged loan transactions, focusing on Term Loan B structures and secondary market trade settlements. You will interpret credit agreements, coordinate with trading desks and counterparties, and ensure accurate loan balancing and timely processing of payments.

Qualifications

4+ years of syndicated loan operations experience, with focus on Term Loan B and secondary trade settlement.
Experience with leveraged loan structures, credit agreements, and LSTA/LMA documentation.
Experience in loan servicing and trade platforms (ACBS, AFS, ClearPar, SyndTrack).

Responsibilities

Complete all incoming loan transactions within SLAs, ensuring compliance with credit agreements.
Independently manage a portfolio of high-dollar Participated and Syndicated loans where Huntington acts as Agent Bank.
Coordinate with Syndication Directors and legal counsel on closings and documentation reviews.
Book and maintain Syndicated loans in the ACBS loan system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Monitor daily reports and wire Participant Banks their pro‑ration share by the next business day.
Prepare and distribute detailed transaction advices to Participant Banks, including rate options and fund transfers.
Process incoming and outgoing wires in coordination with Participant Banks and the Agent Bank.
Receive and interpret loan advices from the Agent Bank and execute same‑day funding requests.
Research and resolve discrepancies in loan balances, rate histories, and payment allocations.
Balance and reconcile financial transactions and batches of work.
Assign and clear incoming wires to the appropriate processor within set standards.
