Job summary

Great American Insurance Group is seeking an IT Intern for Summer 2027 to assist with BillingCenter production support and analytics projects. You will collaborate with application managers, developers, and analysts to gain exposure to enterprise insurance systems and AI-driven automation.

Ideal candidates are pursuing IT/IS/Analytics degrees with a 3.25+ GPA and a 2028 graduation preference, and should demonstrate strong communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Experience with data analysis tools a plus (Power BI, SQL, Snowflake).
• Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Agent building is a plus (Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with BillingCenter Application managers, developers, and analysts.
• Participate in simple to moderately complex tasks related to BillingCenter production support and project initiatives.
• Assist in various tasks as assigned by your manager.
• Attend team meetings as assigned.
• Collaborate to design and implement AI and automation solutions that improve team efficiency.
• Meet with company leaders to learn about roles across the company.
• Work on AI initiatives and related tooling and documentation.
