Southern California Edison is offering a 12-week summer internship in California. You will gain hands-on experience in the energy sector, work with mentors, and contribute to projects that support clean energy goals.

During the program you’ll develop professional skills, build your network, and present your internship project at the Expo. The hybrid work mode allows some remote days, with in-person collaboration at an SCE facility in California.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy or Political Science with graduation date December 2027 or later.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Work on real-world challenges within the utility/energy sector.
• Be paired with a mentor and collaborate to apply knowledge, grow skills and make an impact.
• Build your professional network through intern events.
• Work with cross-functional teams on projects.
• Ongoing support to grow personally and professionally.
• Present your internship project at the annual Intern Expo.
• Gain hands-on experience with industry-relevant software and tools aligned within your field of study.
• Demonstrate effective and open communication.
