Job summary

Cambridge Associates in Boston is seeking a Summer Analyst for a 10-week program to gain exposure to business development and client engagement in investment management.

You will map markets, prepare proposals, assist with onboarding and client relations, and work with senior team members across GCS to learn how lasting partnerships are built. The position is primarily in-office with some remote work, and targets rising seniors (Class of 2028).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree candidate with a record of high academic achievement.
• Demonstrated interest in finance, investments, entrepreneurship and/or sales, business development, or client relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing and analytical skills, strong attention to detail and ability to be proactive, project manage, and prioritize.
• Familiarity with computer databases and programs, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship or restriction now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market mapping, qualify prospects, and support outreach campaigns to help build the business development pipeline.
• Assist with prospect and client proposals, presentations, and introductory meetings, while learning how new client relationships are established.
• Support onboarding, relationship-building efforts, and client retention activities to understand how strong partnerships are sustained over time.
• Help analyze client feedback, assess relationship risks, and contribute to resolving client issues.
• Work closely with senior members of Global Client Solutions, Investment Directors, and subject-matter experts across Cambridge Associates.
