Lowell Comprehensive Treatment Center in Lowell, MA, seeks a Substance Use Counselor to support recovery from Opioid Use Disorder through individual and group counseling, community outreach, and coordination with local health providers. The role includes designing treatment plans, documenting progress, and delivering crisis intervention as needed.

The position requires a Master’s in Behavioral Health with MA independent licensure (LADCI/LISW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT).

Qualificações

• Minimum 4–6 years of counseling experience in relevant settings.
• Strong MAT knowledge and harm-reduction principles.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead individual and group counseling sessions with compassion and professionalism.
• Design, manage, and document treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
• Facilitate group or family therapy sessions as required.
• Keep thorough, clear, and timely documentation on patient care and progress.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments.
• Determine the necessity of referrals to additional programs or external resources.
• Coordinate aftercare plans to support long-term recovery.
• Provide crisis intervention services when needed.
• Manage patient cases to ensure high-quality care.
• Serve as a liaison between patients and referral sources.
