Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering.
• PE License.
• 5+ years of structural design experience for industrial projects (concrete and steel).
• Ability to perform calculations and create analysis models with STAAD.
• Preferred: Pulp/Paper mill experience is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Project Design Supervision / Department Head – oversee drawings and design work.
• Perform field work: inspecting plant conditions and verifying existing conditions.
• Design structures and layout equipment for efficient space use.
• Develop design concepts for installation of equipment and structures.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to minimize total installed cost.
• Manage workload for direct reports and conduct annual reviews.
