Job summary

AECOM in Maryland and Virginia is seeking structural engineers at all levels to join our transportation team. You will work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects, and collaborate with designers, engineers and program managers to deliver safe, cost-effective infrastructure.

Ideal candidates bring a BS in Engineering and several years of related experience; EIT or PE is preferred. The role offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to grow within a global firm.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience.
• 2 years of related experience for Junior Level Engineers.
• 6 years of related experience for Mid-Level Engineers.
• 10 years of related experience for Senior Level Engineers/Task Leads.
• EIT Certification or PE License preferred.
• State DOT experience preferred.
• Sponsorship for US employment is not available now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work on alternative delivery projects, including mega-projects.
• Support design teams for bridge design projects.
• Develop design packages using Bentley Microstation/Open Roads and related software.
• Lead or collaborate as Task Leads on assigned projects.
