Job summary

AEC Resources is seeking a Structural Designer to join an innovative structural engineering team. You will design structural drawings and models, collaborating with engineers, technicians, and project managers on built-environment projects.

The role emphasizes BIM coordination, adherence to standards, and the use of AutoCAD and Revit for 2D/3D deliverables, with a hybrid work schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2D/3D drafting and modeling for structural projects.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drawings.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D structural drawings and models using CAD software from rough sketches or conceptual design information.
• Perform drafting assignments, applying design and drafting standards and procedures.
• Provide day-to-day project support and coordination of structural requirements.
• Work with designers, BIM/CAD technicians, engineers, and project managers as a team.
• Coordinate the application of BIM technologies at the project level.
• Provide BIM production support including model setup and parametric content development.
• Ensure BIM Model meets internal and client standards.
