Job summary

Red Dot Corporation, a leading producer of premium mobile HVAC units, is seeking a Purchasing Specialist based in Memphis, TN. The role blends tactical daily purchasing with strategic sourcing to ensure material availability and KPI achievement for production demand.

The position supports new product integration, ERP/MRP stabilization, and process optimization with corporate procurement. It emphasizes reducing single‑source and offshore exposure for critical components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience.
• User-level experience with an ERP/MRP system (3+ years preferred). Lean principles knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily and weekly purchasing for assigned parts; generate purchase orders from MRP signals and schedule deliveries.
• Manage open-order reports and communicate MRP exceptions to suppliers.
• Maintain inventory levels and KPIs (inventory turns, on-time delivery, inventory value).
• Support the integration of new products and ERP/MRP system improvements.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to deliver cost savings and supply stability.
