Job summary

Silicon Valley Bank is seeking an NSB Associate I in a hybrid role, based in the Phoenix area. The position supports portfolio management, client onboarding, and cross-sell opportunities, reporting to VP/Director levels and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of client facing experience with a financial services institution or High School diploma/GED with 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support MDs, Directors, and VPs in the delivery of the overall client experience. This includes assisting with client onboarding, cash management products, and coordinating internal communications for quick response to client inquiries.
• Build a strong foundational understanding of SVB Startup Banking products and services, along with the broader SVB Platform.
• With guidance from the VP, analyze and manage internal and external data sources to identify top clients, prospects, and potential cross-sell opportunities, predict fundraising needs, and extract industry trends.
• Engage with clients for due diligence, and regulatory and information completeness requests. Review with senior team members.
• Facilitate new client onboarding journey through client service.
• Support client engagement and outreach.
• Participate and support local events to build their own brand as a trusted source and represent the organization in-market.
• Help increase customer satisfaction (NPS) across the portfolio.
• Entry-level understanding of market dynamics. Start developing a network of peers, both internally and externally, within the tech ecosystem.
• Assist with the expansion of existing relationships with a variety of levels of influencers at the client.
• May attend industry events for further education about the markets and clients we serve.
• Work independently and with Sales Operations to identify new prospects and opportunities within the assigned market.
