Job summary

University of Utah seeks a Staff Auditor to plan and conduct audit procedures, identify issues, develop criteria, review evidence, and document the organization’s financial status and operating procedures.

You will prepare reports on findings and recommend improvements to policies, procedures, and internal controls, assist outside auditors, and perform complex work under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 6 years of related work experience.
• Master’s degree or equivalent with 4 years of related work experience.
• Equivalency accepted: 1 year of higher education per 1 year work experience.
