Job summary

DataStaff, Inc. in Richmond, VA is seeking a Database Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity. This hybrid role will focus on database administration, server management, and application support within the IT division.

The successful candidate will maintain SQL Server environments, support SSRS reports, and collaborate with agency staff to meet project requirements. Experience with .NET, SharePoint, and Power Platform is preferred.

Qualifications

• Progressively responsible experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including SSRS, T-SQL, and database admin tasks.
• Maintaining and updating code written by other internal developers.
• Ability to troubleshoot, investigate, mitigate, and resolve technical problems.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to new systems rapidly.
• Experience providing end user technical support and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Server management and database maintenance.

• Provide support to project managers within IT and act as assistant Database Administrator.
