Job summary

Stella Contracting, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Solution Architect to lead the design of scalable, secure technology solutions.

The role blends remote flexibility with regular in-person collaboration and architecture reviews, driving end-to-end architecture work across engineering, security, data, and business teams. You will translate business requirements into practical technical architectures and roadmaps, partner with cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance, performance, and cost

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience designing complex technology solutions.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end technology solutions aligned with business objectives, standards, security, and scalability.
• Translate requirements into clear architectures and solution designs.
• Evaluate applications, platforms, infrastructure, integrations, APIs, databases, and services.
• Develop architecture diagrams, technical specs, roadmaps, and implementation plans.
• Partner with engineering, cloud, security, infrastructure, data, and project teams throughout the lifecycle.
• Assess environments and identify modernization, optimization, automation, and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and make security- and value-driven recommendations.
• Identify risks, dependencies, integration challenges, and architectural constraints.
• Participate in architecture reviews, governance, vendor evaluations, and tech selections.
• Ensure solutions meet security, reliability, performance, compliance, and scalability.
• Provide technical leadership through implementation and delivery.
• Communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
