Job summary

IDeaS is seeking a Software Development Intern in Bloomington, MN for a hybrid onsite role. You will work with engineers, product managers, and QA to contribute to design, development, testing, deployment, and support of cloud-based applications.

The role offers exposure to the SDLC, Agile practices, cloud platforms, APIs, data-driven apps, and emerging AI technologies. You’ll grow programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, or Go and collaborate across teams to deliver quality software.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's in a technical field.
• Solid foundation in programming and software development concepts.
• Familiarity with Git, debugging, and APIs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, developing, and enhancing software applications.
• Develop, maintain, and document reusable code with review participation.
• Support unit, integration, and automated tests; troubleshoot defects.
• Contribute to REST API and microservice development, cloud projects.
• Explore AI-enabled features and responsible AI practices.
