Job summary

Hewlett Packard Enterprise in Spring, Texas is seeking a Software Engineer Intern for a hybrid role requiring about two days per week at an HPE office. You will join the software team, contribute to design, debugging, and development efforts.

The role targets students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related fields, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This internship offers hands-on experience across software systems and collaboration with partner teams.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with software systems design for multiple platforms.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of systems software.
Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs issues.
Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on software systems design and development.
Participates as a member of a project team to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately complex products.
