Job summary

Broadridge is seeking a versatile Software Engineer with QA automation for a hybrid role in New Jersey. You will contribute to both development and automated testing, ensuring code quality across the delivery lifecycle.

The position requires experience with Java, Python, Perl, Linux, Shell scripting, and automation frameworks. Responsibilities include analysis, estimation, code maintenance and migration, plus building and executing automated tests.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant work experience.
Solid knowledge of programming, testing & deployment tools and languages.
Experience with automated tests as part of the delivery cycle.
Knowledge of AGILE methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Knowledge of AFP and PDF print formatting/testing.

Responsibilities

Conduct high level technical analysis to determine feasibility and approach.
Provide accurate work estimates for project timelines.
Maintain and migrate existing code to newer platforms.
Develop, automate and execute test cases and verify results before release of code for business or client acceptance testing.
Contribute to integration, deployment content and system documentation.
Support and enhance automation tools.
