Job summary

SourceFly seeks a highly skilled SME Full Stack Developer with Java and Python expertise to support CBP mission-critical applications in Ashburn, VA. The role emphasizes end-to-end development, architecture decisions, and mentoring junior developers.

The position is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days onsite per week, with strong focus on RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and rapid deployment of AI/ML-enabled services within enterprise-grade solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree/years as listed or equivalent in CS/related field (BS/BA preferred).
• Proven expertise in Java development with modern frameworks (Spring Boot).
• Experience with Micro Services and containerized apps (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Experience with messaging queues (gRPC, RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Harness/Jenkins).
• RESTful API design and development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Python.

Responsibilities

• Lead and maintain end-user focused, object-oriented, data-driven analytic apps to support CBP threat analysis in an agile environment.
• Contribute to all phases of the software engineering lifecycle (SELC).
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and ensure frontend-backend integration.
• Develop, modify, test, and document code, data flows, and use cases.
• Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.
• Assist in integrating AI/ML deployment into the delivery framework.
