Job summary

Tufts Medical Center, a major academic medical center, seeks a Sleep Medicine physician to join our Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. This hybrid role blends inpatient and outpatient care with teaching, research, and community engagement.

You may concentrate on Sleep Medicine or share time with Pulmonary and Critical Care; dedicated sleep lab work and collaboration with a busy sleep clinic are available. Teaching and academic activity are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an Accredited Medical School.
• Board eligible or certified in Sleep Medicine, with experience appropriate to career level.
• For candidates who want to split time between Sleep and Pulmonary and Critical Care will need to be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care
• Hold, or eligible to obtain, a valid Massachusetts Medical License
• A history of delivering superb clinical care and an interest in teaching fellows, residents and medical students

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient clinical care at Tufts Medical Center
• Deliver community-based clinical care at Lowell General Hospital, as part of an integrated hybrid role
• Diagnose and manage patients with a range of sleep medicine conditions
• Engage in academic activity and research related to Sleep Medicine, Pulmonary, and Critical Care
• Participate in teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows
• Support the mission of Tufts Medicine through clinical excellence, education, research, and community engagement
