The role focuses on log onboarding, detection engineering, and collaboration with SOC and infrastructure teams to strengthen security monitoring and incident response.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Splunk and enterprise SIEM engineering experience.
• Proficient in log ingestion, parsing, normalization, indexing, and retention.
• Experience developing correlation searches, alerts, detection rules, dashboards, and reports.
• Experience integrating SIEM with cloud environments, applications, and security tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
• Experience supporting SOC operations, threat detection, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, configure, maintain, and optimize the enterprise SIEM platform (Splunk).
• Onboard data sources; manage log collection, parsing, retention.
• Develop and maintain correlation searches, alerts, dashboards, and reports.
• Integrate SIEM with cloud platforms, apps, infrastructure, and security tools.
• Monitor platform performance, capacity, and health; troubleshoot issues.
• Tune alerts to reduce false positives and improve threat detection.
