Job summary

AppLab Systems, Inc. is seeking a Technical Business Analyst for a 6–12 month hybrid engagement in Quincy, MA. The role focuses on planning and developing a deep understanding of business processes, data flows, and system integrations. You will drive requirements, data mapping, and ETL/EDI solutions with stakeholders and vendors.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years BA experience, strong SQL skills, and working knowledge of SDLC and data security for healthcare data (PII/PHI).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 5+ years of business analysis and data integration.
• Experience with SDLC and healthcare data security (PII/PHI).
• Proficient in SQL and data mapping, ETL/EDI knowledge.
• Experience with Jira and Rational Quality Manager (RQM).

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop functional decomposition to understand business processes and data flows.
• Gather, document, and analyze data sources, schemas, and master interfaces for integration needs.
• Lead requirement gathering, design solutions, and assist in test script development.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate Webservices/ETL/EDI and ensure data quality and traceability.
