Job summary

West Virginia University’s Health Affairs Institute is seeking a Hybrid Senior Survey Research Specialist. You will lead mixed methods survey research, program and monitor surveys, and collaborate with partners across WVU and state agencies to deliver actionable insights.

Requires a Master’s in a health science field and at least 1 year of health research or evaluation experience, with proficiency in Voxco, REDCap, and Qualtrics. Travel may be required and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a health science-related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of health-related research or evaluation experience.
• Experience with survey research in a professional office environment.
• Experience with multi-modal survey software (e.g., Voxco) including CATI/CAWI.
• Experience creating and managing online survey platforms (REDCap, Qualtrics).

Responsibilities

• Conduct mixed methods research and pilot activities for concurrent survey projects.
• Perform data collection via surveys, interviews, focus groups across modalities.
• Program and monitor surveys using Voxco or similar platforms.
• Perform QA checks on quantitative data and troubleshoot software issues.
• Collaborate with researchers to improve survey design and lead call center development.
• Travel as needed to collect survey data.
• Code and verify data, enter into databases for analysis.
• Design survey instruments and interview schedules and recruit subjects.
• Prepare reports and presentations of research results for stakeholders.
