Senior Sourcing Specialist

Responsibilities

Full end-to-end ownership of assigned categories, including project identification, sourcing leadership, and prioritization in alignment with the Category Manager.
Lead and integrate spend portfolio related to M&A activities.
Build a project pipeline and lead the sourcing process (RFI and RFQ) with support of technical experts, including supplier negotiations.
Obtain significant cost savings while increasing quality and reducing delivery time.
Manage stakeholder relationships up to ELE Presidents and collaborate with key stakeholders to understand laboratory business requirements, align on goals, and drive sourcing initiatives.
Influence and lead change management, including setting up test plans, to ensure sourcing practices, processes, and tools are adopted across the organization.
Research market information and assess cost and risk.
Use Excel to conduct spend analysis, analyze trends, and identify savings opportunities.
Prepare reports and presentations for management and communicate key insights.
Integrate organizational measures such as supplier diversity, sustainability, cash flow improvement, automation, and digitization into the process.
Lead negotiations with suppliers across a spectrum of complexity, including multi-faceted contracts, often collaborating with supplier leadership.
Apply knowledge of legal and contractual issues in negotiating contracts.
Organize priorities and projects with the ability to adapt to Purchasing department and business needs.
Demonstrate self‑motivation and a performance‑driven mindset to identify priorities and deliver within agreed deadlines.
Work autonomously, manage tasks without constant oversight, and demonstrate strong self‑directed learning.
Be agile and adaptable to Eurofins and team needs, including potential reassignment of goals and responsibilities.

Additional Responsibilities

Recommend supplier selection, RFP process, and supplier performance management.
Manage supplier selection, RFP process, negotiation, contracting, and performance processes.
Create a strong knowledge base for assigned categories, market dynamics, and relevant suppliers.
Work under pressure in a multi‑tasking and multi‑priority environment to manage operational and value‑driven purchasing.
Ensure the administration, implementation, compliance, and enforcement of national commodity and contracting strategies.
Drive sourcing process alignment through project management, including compliance with scope, timeline, deliverables, total cost of ownership, quality, and budget.
Lead negotiations for multi‑site group contracts and extract cost savings.
Build relationships with external suppliers.
Act as Purchasing Business Partner for a few Legal Entities and serve as the single point of contract for internal stakeholders.
Provide various reporting as defined by team processes or manager.
Review Purchase Order requisitions in Coupa and ensure best‑value sourcing.
Manage robust e‑catalogue and pricing in the procurement tool, including compliance checks.
Lead and integrate assigned portfolio of spend related to post‑acquisition activity.
Lead both sourcing and operational scope in purchasing.

Qualifications

3‑4+ years of Purchasing and Negotiation experience.
Background in the construction industry (preferred).
Experience working in Excel, including pivot tables and standard functions.
Experience with Coupa Source‑to‑Pay is an asset but not mandatory.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and excellent written and oral communication.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to coach or train Sourcing Specialists and Associates.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
