Job summary

Wissen Technology in New York City seeks an AVP/VP-level SQL Server & Informatica ETL Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise ETL pipelines. You will collaborate closely with data engineers, business analysts, and application teams in an Agile environment.

The role requires 5–7 years of SQL Server and Informatica PowerCenter experience, strong SQL tuning skills, and the ability to deliver scalable data solutions for enterprise clients. Hybrid work mode with 3 days onsite.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of experience in SQL Server development and ETL.
• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
• Experience designing and developing enterprise ETL pipelines.
• Strong SQL performance tuning and query optimization skills.
• Experience troubleshooting ETL jobs and production issues.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions in Microsoft SQL Server.
• Design and optimize database objects for high-performance enterprise applications.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ETL and database solutions.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple heterogeneous data sources.
• Troubleshoot ETL failures, SQL performance issues, and production incidents.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and production support teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and code reviews.
• Support production deployments and resolve critical production issues.
• Maintain technical documentation, ETL mapping specifications, and deployment procedures.
• Follow enterprise coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices.
